This handmade quilt is made from all cotton: cotton front, cotton batting, and cotton backing.
The front is a simple patchwork design using soft, delicate cotton prints and a vintage stripe cotton sheet.
The back of this quilt is made from a lovely gray swirl design.
I used a tiny polka dot cotton for the double-fold binding. The double fold French binding was machine sewn on the front and hand-stitched to the back.
A label with the maker's name -mine- (Honeysuckle Lane / Lana Manis) as well as care instructions is attached to the back. It has been machine quilted by me, as well.
This could be used for a baby quilt or a quilt for a child.
Size: 48” x 38”.
This understated gray, white, and aqua / teal / blue / green? quilt is ready for your little one to snuggle in or play on! It would be a great baby shower gift, as well. It already looks like an heirloom quilt with its eclectic collection of fabrics and crinkly coziness that appears once it has been laundered the first time.
But… the colors are wonderful and the size would work for an adult throw quilt… just keep in mind the size: 54” x 43”.
