Don't Blink!

There are moments in life you just don't want to miss.
Our little grand-daughter is nearly 23 months old and I love every minute spent with her!

And that's just a glimpse of the past year!

I've not posted nearly as much on my blog as I used to in the past, but you can see why. :)
As I begin working on handmade items in the coming year, I'll share more with you. I hope to have some projects here at home to share, as well.

And if I don't have projects to share... there's always Jolee! ;)

Take care and God bless,

Listing Antiques, Primitives, Handmade, Artwork, etc. on eBay

Here we go again... I am listing items on eBay again. I just have so much stuff and I've got to move it out to have room in my workroom again.

I'll be listing on and off for the next several weeks, maybe a few months!

Most of my own handmade items are being listed at much lower prices than the retail price. These are items that have been around a while, either they haven't sold in my shop or quite often I forgot to relist them once they expired on Etsy and realized they were still in boxes in my workroom.

My seller ID is honeysucklelane.
Here is a link to my list of items: my eBay auctions.

Check back often to see what's been added to the list!

Inspiration Saturday

Sometimes we just need a reminder that we are not alone, and there is One who is always there for those that trust Him.

Have a blessed day,

Farmhouse Style Boxwood Topiary Product Review / Offer

Don't you think a touch of greenery in the home livens things up a bit? And when it's faux greenery, those of us who don't have a green thumb can have beautiful plants like everyone else!

I've tried houseplants over the years and eventually they fade away, most often sooner than later. Several months ago, one of my sisters gave me a couple of small faux topiaries and I was pleasantly surprised at their realistic appearance!

So, when I was recently asked to review a product from HedgeScapes, I was excited to participate! I was given a dollar amount to spend from an extensive selection... there were so many items that I liked, but I settled on a couple of wonderful faux boxwood topiaries in galvanized buckets.

I have one sitting beside a large, antique basket on top of an old pie safe. It fits that farmhouse corner perfectly!

And the other one is on a bookshelf in the living room. This area is much lighter, a little more modern, but look how well it fits this space!

The representative asked for a neutral review, but I have no problem with a five star, positive review! I really love these pieces and would like to order more items from the company. I am very impressed with the quality and how realistic they look!

*** The fine print and offer: I was offered a product from HedgeScapes in exchange for an honest review. If any of my blogger friends are interested in a similar opportunity, email Snehal ( and provide my name, Lana Manis / Honeysuckle Lane as a referral. I do get credit for your review after it goes live. ***

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Rustic, Rural, Whimsical Art

I've been adding new work to my shop, Honeysuckle Lane.
And if you'd like to see works in progress, follow along over at Instagram.
I really like the paintings I've done this summer...
lavender and bees,
old churches,
barns and fields,
rural landscapes...
it's more like me...
of what I know...
of where I live.

I live in rural Tennessee... the Cumberland Plateau... the Southern Appalachians... always have, always will. Fields full of wildflowers, old barns, little country churches, and overgrown home-places are forever in my heart. It's hard not to paint what you love, and I love all of these and more.

Come back soon to visit. It's been to quiet around here. :)

God bless,

Same Old, Same Old...

Time seems to get away from me more and more. Spring is here and I have so much on my to-do list... and here I am still making Love Tokens! I guess they really are good for year 'round gifts. You can give someone a love token for so many reasons: a wedding, an anniversary, an engagement, an I Love You sentiment, a Best Friend gift... you see what I mean?

There were only 6 left from my first collection, and this second collection has been sold except for one. In this second collection, each valentine is displayed in an antique velvet frame.
Four of them have original 18th and 19th century French document papers for the background. The other one has an embossed fragment of a French document for the cuff. I love this new (old) element that has been added to them.

If you'd like to see them, please visit my Honeysuckle Lane shop. The one pictured above can be found here (it's #2 - the only one left on that page).

Hopefully, next time I'll have some spring related things to talk about! :)

Take care and God bless,
