HI, I'M LANA
Welcome to Honeysuckle Lane! I make one of a kind quilts to be loved and snuggled. And because I love to always be creating... I also paint florals and landscapes, sew pumpkins using vintage velvet and other textiles, I make the occasional assemblage jewelry collection, and create paper whimsies.
I am a self-taught artist who loves nature, history, and simple pleasures. I hope to remind others of these joys. It is also my desire is to reflect the beauty and the blessings of the Lord in my designs.
Besides being a work at home artist, I am a wife, Mom, and Nana! I live on the Cumberland Plateau on the border of middle and east Tennessee and the central and eastern time zone... also part of the Southern Appalachians. It's a beautiful rural area where I have lived all my life.
My handmade items have appeared in Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Crafts, Romantic Homes, Stampington's GreenCraft, Early American Life, Victoria, Create & Decorate, Craftworks, and Arts & Crafts. I have been a Pattern Partner for National Nonwovens.
This blog is like my life… a little of this and a little of that… you never know what I’ll post next! One day it may be work, another day might be family, and the next may be the view down a country road near my home.
I hope you enjoy visiting and come back for more visits. Leave me a comment once in a while, too!
Take care and God bless,
Lana
