Warnings = Love ❤

With today's flooding in our area, we are hearing the warning, "Turn around, don't drown." People hear that warning so much, they begin to ignore it and go against better judgement.

Spiritually speaking, we tend to ignore the warnings given to us in the Bible. Warnings are for our own good, not to do us harm, but to help and protect us... and to save us.

The scripture from 2 Chronicles 7:14 is something I've heard all my life. But it is just as true today as the day it was written. To me it is a warning as well as a promise. If we do what it says, God will forgive our sin and heal our land. But the warning is, if we don't humble ourselves and pray, and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, our sin will not be forgiven and our land will not be healed.

Don't ignore the warnings. God loves you, and so do I. ❤

Puzzle Purse Valentines In Progress

I’m working on valentines this week... aging, cutting, and folding papers.

I’ve collected more verses from antique valentines. If you’ve collected my tokens of love in the past, this year there will be new (old) verses to add to your collection.

My plans are to have at least a dozen, maybe two, ready by Saturday evening.

I’ll even have a few new elements this year, but you’ll have to wait and see for those.

See you Saturday night!
Take care and God bless,
Lana

Finally!

Coming soon! Not sure of the exact date yet, but by the 2nd weekend of November I'll have some new handmade items ready to list. It's been a while since I've made anything and I can't make up my mind... so it will be a little of this and a little of that.

Stop back by soon!
Take care and God bless,
Lana

Getting Ready for the Lavender Festival

I've been working on new block print designs for this year's Lavender Festival. There will be barns and old churches with lavender, as well as a few other plants such as Solomon's seal, Queen Anne's lace, and beebalm. This year I'm selling small sets of cards and you may mix and match your own sets!

I will also have a few dozen new paintings, all 6x6 in size and all priced $45 each.

The lavender sachets are always a hit and there will be new designs printed on those, as well.

And last but not least, I will have a large section designated as the Customer Appreciation area. I have been a vendor at the Lavender Festival for nearly 20 years. I've missed only one year since I began. As more time is devoted to family and home, I find myself spending less time on handcrafted art. So, I am setting aside a large quantity of my inventory and discounting the items by 50% and even more in some instances. I don't know if I will continue with a dedicated online shop (which has been neglected for some time) and I would rather let it go to you at a great deal rather than collect dust in storage because I am not actively selling.

If you are in the Oak Ridge, TN area on June 15th, come to historic Jackson Square. You will find me set up on the sidewalk in front of The Ferrell Shop.

Take care and God bless,
Lana
