2018 Love Token Collection, part 1
Perfect gifts for friendship, engagements, weddings, and anniversaries, these one-of-a-kind pieces are inspired by valentines of the 18th and 19th centuries.
I have hand-cut each piece so no two are alike.
They have been made from:
~ antique French documents from the 1800s to 1900,
~ parchment papers that I have stained, aged, painted with watercolors,
~ parchment papers which have been printed with copies of 18th century early American letters,
~ embossed, foil papers from my vintage & antique card and envelope collection,
~ and snippets of vintage letters or envelopes.

Take care,

Valentines are coming...
I've gathered bits and pieces again, as I do each year... French letters and documents from the 1800s and the early 1900s, hand tinted and aged paper, and a stack of old, blue sheets of paper wrapped in brown paper... tattered and torn, ready to be brought out of the dark and loved again.
Valentines are coming.
Some of them will be made from old French ledger pages...
pressed and manipulated with the help of an antique ivory tool...
some from French documents with wonderful watermarks...
Things are coming together... woven hearts, hearts in hands, and more.
I hope to have the Valentines ready by February 1st, when they will be awaiting their time to be sent to someone you love.
Our family started the first month of the year with a 54th birthday, a 2nd birthday, a 44th wedding anniversary, and sadly, a death. If nothing else, those events in our lives have taught us to live more, and love more. Each and every moment that we are here is a blessing from God. Each and every moment that we are here, we have the opportunity to do good, and to love. Don't forget to love, share love, and share God's love.
Take care and God bless,
Lana
