I have been making rabbits and birds this week. I have a few listed on the Whimsies page of my website, and hope to get a few more made next week.

A Quilt for Dolly

I sold some of these a few years ago and while prowling through boxes in my basement, I happened upon more squares from the same antique quilt and thought I'd make a few more.

These are all hand sewn, from the original piecing and quilting to the recent binding that I made and stitched. They are only $15 each and are the sweetest little things for a doll, or you could even use them as a cupboard coverlet (hang over an open door or drape over a shelf), or place on a table for a little prim mat.

Poppets, Portraits, & Playthings of the Past has been updated...

...sort of... I am still working on a sheep ~ see the PPPP blog to read about him.

Suzanne painted a wonderful portrait of a little girl holding a bunny and she also painted a silhouette of a little boy and a sheep.

I made a rabbit as a companion to the portrait and will have a hand sculpted sheep finished and ready tomorrow afternoon to go along with the silhouette.
