Remember when I announced Roger and I will be 1st time grandparents in a
few months? The baby is due near the end of January. Roger had his
second carpal tunnel surgery scheduled some time back so his hand could heal in
time to work on a baby bed.
Here are the makings of a fine
heirloom... completely hand-crafted, no plans, just a couple of photos
we found online to serve as inspiration. It's made from cherry and will
convert from a baby bed to a full size bed (eventually). Now for the
sanding, staining, sealing, and assembly!
I'll share more photos as it progresses. I can hardly wait to see it finished!
Take care and God bless,
Lana
How simply beautiful . . . and from the heart.

Thank you, Lori Ann! :)
DeleteMy husband made our first granddaughter's baby bed also. But DIL decided to just let Kaylee sleep with her as it was easier. Such a waste of a beautiful bed and heirloom.
