I never have my home completely decorated ~ always changing some little something here and there, maybe a bird's nest on the ivory pedestal today, and back in a silver dish tomorrow ~ the robin's egg blue vase in the bathroom for the moment, but possibly in the kitchen next week.

I like odd things, old things, simple things, things someone would throw away.... I'm not picky!~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I like things made by friends and talented artists. I like family heirlooms, no matter if they are rickety and worn...~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I like old wooden cupboards, bird's nests, feathers, tree bark, mosses and lichens...~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I like old books ~ musty, dusty books, it doesn't matter...~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I like old vintage jewelry ~ bits and pieces of broken sparkly jewelry...~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I have a jewlery box full of treasures~ old baubles, necklaces, and pins. We wear them all the time. It is amazing what one gaudy rhinestone pin can do for a jacket.
